  • The Union for Contemporary Art 2423 North 24th Street Omaha, NE, 68110 United States (map)

Come celebrate more than 75 zine creators from the Midwest and beyond.

Omaha Zine Fest is free, family-friendly, and open to the public. There will be workshops, tutorials and more throughout the duration of this event.

If you are unfamiliar with zines, a zine (an abbreviation of fanzine or magazine) is most commonly self-published work, traditionally photocopied. Zines can cover just about anything, often including politics, social theory, literature, art and design. But the possibilities are limitless. Some zines can be just about cats, dogs and dreams you’ve had. Omaha Zine Fest strives to present publications that cover a variety of subject matters and perspectives.
